About the Preacher
Jason Hilburn is a native of Brantley, Alabama. Jason was converted to Christ in April of 1997 by Jeff Grimes of the Sasser church of Christ. Jason received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science in 1997 from Troy State University in Troy, Alabama. He worked as a Network Administrator from 1997 until 2003, when he decided to attend the Memphis School of Preaching. Jason received the Outstanding Student Award, and since graduation he has preached for congregations in Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. Jason worked with the church of Christ in Nesbit, Mississippi for 8 years before moving to work with the church of Christ in Baker, Florida in December of 2016. Jason has preached on television, radio, and various Internet outlets. Jason has written books about prayer, and was the book editor and lectureship director of the annual Standing in the Gap Lectureship for 8 years. Jason uses the Internet to teach weekly Bible classes to people overseas, and served as an online instructor with Four Seas College of Bible and Missions in Singapore from 2012 to 2020. Jason has converted preachers out of various man-made churches through his online teaching. He has also done missionary work in Ukraine and in the Far East, and he is the webmaster for JasonsBibleBlog.com and TheBibleDomain.com. Jason desires that all glory be given to God always. Jason has a faithful Christian wife named Amanda, also a native of Brantley, Alabama, and they have two children–Katelynne and Braden. Amanda also has a successful art business-ArtByAmandaHilburn.com
About the Congregation
The church of Christ in Baker, Florida began meeting in 1957. The church began with a strong desire to serve and worship God according to His Word, while also possessing the love that Christians should have. To this day, the congregation still does their best to serve God in truth and love, while diligently working to spread the Truth throughout the region.

- The church’s radio program began on WJSB AM and has continued every Sunday at 8:30AM since Jan. 6, 1963!
